I attended Southern Oregon University focusing on my Physical Education/Teaching degree. When I graduated in 1997 with my Bachelor degree in Health Promotion/Fitness Management the idea of practicing Massage Therapy was weighing heavy on my mind. After a few years of substitute teaching, I returned to college attending Rogue Community College and receiving my Massage Therapy Certificate in 2001.
In the fall of 2001, I opened Bodyworks, LLC. Over the years therapists have come and gone, but the foundation of Bodyworks has always stayed the same. Customer service has always come first. Giving a good massage comes from your heart and your hands. I feel I am lucky to say I love my job and all of the people I work with. I focus on a therapeutic style of massage using Deep Tissue and Trigger Point therapy, Massage Cupping, CranioSacral Therapy, Reiki, and Myofascial Techniques. I also have training in Hot Stone Therapy, Reflexology and Medical Massage. I have extensive experience working with Motor Vehicle Accident injuries and work closely with Doctors, Physical Therapists, Chiropractors, and FNP’s to further promote my clients well being.
