I completed the massage program at the Ashland Institute of Massage in 2002. Prior to graduation from massage school I was selected to work under two chiropractors in Medford as a Chiropractic Assistant and Massage Therapist. For two and a half years I refined my technical skills by learning to work with a wide range of chronic pain and acute injuries. From this position I transitioned to Waterstone Spa in Ashland, where I quickly was promoted to Massage Department Manager working at the spa until the spring of 2013. After my departure from the Spa, I continued to build my private practice and also started working with the team at Bodyworks & Body~n~Balance.
Since becoming licensed I have pursued continuing education in a multiplicity of massage modalities. Some of my favorites and most utilized are Foot Reflexology, Mana Lomi, LaStone Therapy and Aromatherapy. I have recently started using massage cupping in my practice to help facilitate the movement of the fascia from the muscle tissue. I also have extensive experience working with Motor Vehicle Accident injuries and work closely with Doctors, Physical Therapists, Chiropractors, and FNP’s to further promote my clients well being.
