I have lived in the Rogue Valley most of my life and I love it here! I have been married for 30 years to an amazing man and have two amazing girls (young women), they are my heart. I have been blessed beyond measure with my amazing family.
I have been a massage therapist since 2002. I was in a car accident in 1999 where I was injured with whiplash. I received Physical Therapy along with Massage Therapy during my rehabilitation. It changed my life, literally. I soon started massage school, but having two small children made it challenging. With total support of my family I made it through and started working for a Chiropractor immediately after graduation. I was totally immersed in massage and realized I had a learning curve that I was still needing to achieve. I was up for the challenge! I love working with others and learning about them and how I can walk alongside them in their healing journey, whatever that may entail.
In 2003 I moved my practice to Bodyworks, LLC where I joined fellow massage classmate, Tracy Deal. It was then, Body~n~Balance was born. We developed a soft clinical atmosphere where all people will feel not only comfortable in a relaxing environment, but feel a sense of nurturing when they enter the facility. All of our massage therapists work together to create a great therapeutic team!
My style of massage work is 99% therapeutic. It is an integration of Deep Tissue, Trigger Point, Myofascial Release, Massage Cupping, Gua Sha, essential oils, hydrotherapy, etc. I also am trained in Pre-Natal massage and Medical Massage as well as continue to learn new techniques to keep fresh and new. I am continually striving to find that “perfect fix” to help individuals to achieve a well balanced body. I always say “There is a key to every lock…we just need to find the right key!” I have extensive experience working with motor vehicle accident injuries and work very closely with doctors, physical therapists, chiropractors and FNP’s to further promote my client’s well being.
