I grew up in the Rogue Valley and attended Lane Community College to receive my Massage Therapy Certificate. I was licensed in 2006 and immediately started working here at Bodyworks. While starting out in Swedish Massage, I branched out taking continuing education classes to broaden my therapeutic style. I enjoy using Deep Tissue, Trigger Point techniques, Myofascial Release, Pregnancy Massage, Hot Stone Massage, Gua Sha and Massage Cupping to work with my clients. I have extensive experience working with Motor Vehicle Accident injuries and work closely with Doctors, Physical Therapists, Chiropractors, and FNP’s to further promote my clients well being.
I feel the type of bodywork that I specialize in offers a nurturing touch, authentic presence and intention to engage the whole person into deeper levels of relaxation. This is not a “beat the muscle up until it gives in” type of massage; rather it is more of a melting away of tension and stress – sort of like a mini vacation.
I am a professional and qualified massage therapist with a personal passion for health and well being. I am also committed to the long-term health of clients as well as their short-term relief. I am currently in charge of all out going chair massage scheduling and taking care of appearances at health fairs and other events.
